Sowing Seeds of Blessing

My favourite parable by far is in Matthew 20, verses 1-16 - the Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard. Not only does it show that The Lord provides for us but that He seeks us out to do so, and not just once - He comes to us repeatedly to ensure we receive the blessing that He so earnestly desires to give.

The children of Kingdom Kids are mobilizing to help those in need, they are joining together to sow seeds of blessing into the hearts of the less fortunate. We are declaring the month of November, ‘Sowvember,’ and we aim to bless people in the Downtown East Side with warm clothing items to be handed out by the Pneuma Church Street Ministry as they walk amongst the poorest people in the city each week to offer prayer and the real encouragement that only Christ can provide. If you would like to donate new toques, mittens, gloves, or wooly socks, please send them with your children when they come to Kingdom Kids, bring them to our Sunday service, or drop them off Monday to Thursday during office hours. Financial donations to this mission can be made at the church or online. Please indicate that your donation is for the Pneuma Church Street Ministry when you give. Send the link to this video to your friends and family as well so they might share in the blessing of others.

Galatians 6:9 tells us, “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” Just like our Loving Father, the generous farmer in the parable in Matthew 20, let us go repeatedly to those who need His blessing and help us to bless them abundantly, in the same way The Lord seeks to bless us all.
